The Vampire Diaries

The television series The Vampire Diaries follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) who falls for a century-old vampire Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Their lives grow more complicated as Stefan’s vicious brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) returns to town with a vendetta against his brother. Both brothers begin to show affection towards Elena, mainly because of her resemblance to their past love Katherine, who eventually returns with plans against the trio. The series is set in fictional Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural history.

The music for the show is diverse, ranging from a wide array of emerging indie-artists, to covers of familiar songs, to other rock and pop music. For this series, each week we strive to debut music from buzzworthy indie artists, as well as select music that helps compliment and add to the dark and fun tone of the show.

Pretty Little Liars

The television series Pretty Little Liars follows four high school best friends who must band together against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal their darkest secrets. The series is set at fictional Rosewood High School.

The music for this show presents the audience with a wide array of emerging and veteran singer songwriters. For this series, we use music to accentuate and to add emotion to scenes, helping to provide the maximum emotional impact for the audience. We use music that characters on the show would be listening to on their iPods in the halls, in their bedrooms while studying, and in their cars on the way to school.

The television series Greek follows students of the fictional Cyprus-Rhodes University who participate in the school’s Greek system and the fictional fraternities, Kappa Tau Gamma (ΚΤΓ) and Omega Chi Delta (ΩΧΔ), and the fictional sorority, Zeta Beta Zeta (ΖΒZ). Throughout the course of the series, other non-Greek characters and situations are introduced, but they all tie into larger relationships with the Greeks.

For this series, we try to portray different indie artists that college students listen to in their dorms, on their iPods, at their fraternity and sorority parties, or at the local college bars.
